Can't be done. You have to use a screen capturing software of some sorts. There are a couple of drivers out there that can be installed and act as the camera for Flash but I don't think they've come out of beta. I remember one but it was bandwidth intensive, not really usable.

Hi,
I want to extend this question with few examples and ask, if there is any option to use my examples solutions to pass/send this raw data to FMIS and save as FLV there. With my examples you can save FLV files on local HDD.

This example is grabbing whole stage from Flex app (this is what I need, but I need also audio like in next example), saving as byteArray frames and save as FLV but not on FMIS. Is it possible to do it with FMIS?

Prevoius examples was without audio. This is with audio:

Any ideas to save this video/audio raw data on FMIS as FLV?

Last question. Is it possible to download and save FLV files from FMIS Server to local HDD by normal link like http://fmisserver.com/SOMELINE/myFmisfile.flv or with Flash/Flex application?

Thx,

FMS doesn't encode video unfortunately. You have to use some other software to do the encoding.

The only way to download files from somewhere on FMIS is to have those files in a web directory and serve them up via a web server.
