Hi,

Is there a way to get the room name inside the server application? I want to log some user activity and i need to send to the php the room name.

How are you saving the room name? I'm not sure what you mean by a room name, there is no such thing in FMS.

but when i connect to fms: connections[roomName].connect('rtmp://xxx.com/chat/' + roomName + '/', username, 0);

how can i know in the fms application what's the value of: roomName

Maybe i can get the url and parse it in a way?

So you want to get the instance name of the application. That's not so tough, here's a quick snippet for you:

this.instanceName = application.name.replace(/.*?\//, "");

Putting that in your onAppStart you can then save the instance name for later use.
