Hi everybody,
I hope it won't sound too sutpid :) basically I learned here about FMS and migrated my own online card from a previous custom java solution to FMS.
It was such a success, so stable, that I more or less let it run since then (doing that on my spare time).
Today (2 years after..) just had that idea to see what happened to that product and landed on this page: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashmediaserver/downloads_updaters.html where I saw there are free update available till version 4.5.2...
My question now (finally): I have a development environment on my windows laptop and a production one on a robust hosted linux server, and I am far to be a linux guru... how easy it is to go from my 3.5.3 to the 4.5.2 on the linux production ? Is there any real added value for me ? Is it risky ? Do I have to plan a big downtime ? Do I have to change any code ? Roll back will be possible ?
Sorry if that sounds like a newb or lazy question :)
